Skincare Tips For The Wet Season

Skincare is everything henny!
by Jasmine Gagarin
The rainy season is in its full swing. The weather seems to be more unpredictable than the plot twists in Money Heist. So you need to be skincare ready rain or shine!   Experts say that our immunity level decreases during the monsoon seasons, thus requiring us to apply extra care to our skin. Although we have different skin types, there are some ways that we could somehow meet and share tips to help keep our skin hydrated and fresh!   Here are some skincare hacks!

WASH YOUR FACE

The goal is to keep your face clean and unclog your pores with all the dirt from the outside. Washing 2-3 times a day is the best way to do it. Make sure you washed your hands first and removed all your makeup. Light makeup, by the way, is more when it comes to the monsoon seasons. Don’t use hot or cold water. Rather, use lukewarm.

TONER TOO

Toners are necessary to unclog your pores from dirt! It’s essential to calm your skin and keep the PH balance. If you have dry skin, it’s best not to use alcohol-based toners because of its volatile nature that makes your skin even drier.

EXFOLIATE

It’s important to know which cleanser works best for your skin. It’s imperative to practice moderation and use it at least two to three times a week. Exfoliate, but don’t over-exfoliate! You don’t want your face falling off of your head. No, ma’am!

SUNSCREEN

Yes, sunscreen! I know the Sun has been in no-show lately but applying sunscreen is still a MUST! It doesn’t only protect you from the sun’s ultraviolet (UV) radiation, but it decelerates the development of wrinkles, dark spots, and sagging skin.

MOISTURIZE

Moisturizing is everything! And it is best is to apply it every night. Experts say that our skin tries to repair itself on its own during the evenings. So, don’t forget to use your favorite moisturizer!
