Somewhere along the busy streets of Monumento stands a small and peaceful shop that serves the finest coffee, pasta, and milk tea in town.

Owned by Joyce Maghacot, Pages and Lattes offers a whole new twist to Filipino dining. The shop has Hot Latte, Matcha, White Pages (Carbonara), Peppermint Tea, Bacon and Egg (Rice Meal), Iced Caramel Macchiato, Lychee Fruit Tea, Wintermelon Milk Tea, and Creamy Chocolate Milk Tea.

In an interview with STAIL.PH, Maghacot shares how her business continues to earn its customers’ trust.

PLACE FOR ALL

“In the metro, life never stopped. There are local restaurants that close early, and most of them are very exclusive. The edge of Pages and Lattes among all of it is that the coffee shop is open to people from all walks of life. If you want to study, conduct a meeting, hang out, have fun, or take a break, Pages and Lattes can offer you a place inside the coffee shop,” Maghacot said.

COOL AND COZY

Established in 2016, Pages and Lattes had the reputation of being a “cool and cozy spot” as it entertains the customers through live bands during acoustic nights. Maghacot also shared what makes Pages and Lattes different from other brands.

“One of the coffee shop’s edges is our signature coffee which is purely native because of the coffee beans exported from Baguio. Through this, we provide to aid the farmers in our little way. Though it is native, coffee products were made affordable for students and its customers,” Maghacot said.

“The coffee shop does not only serve the customers but its employees as well. Having known in creating a harmonious relationship between its staff and the management, part of Pages and Lattes’ core responsibilities is to provide scholarships to its deserving employees that are performing well in their field. We treat our customers like family as well as our coffee shop’s employees.” Maghacot added.

Pages and Lattes is open from 10 a.m. to 12 midnight during Mondays to Thursdays, and 10 a.m. to 1 a.m during weekends. Now you know where to go if you want to experience coffee and milk tea with a twist!
